Technical Consultant
As a Technical Consultant at Ascertus, you will be delivering and advising on the configuration of business-critical solutions. You will need to be comfortable and confident in speaking with clients and be able to lead conversations with clients and partners on both a technical and non-technical level. A consultant will be expected to conduct discovery and design sessions to gather information around client requirements for the solution, offer advice on best practice, and configure the system to align with these needs.
You will mainly be working with iManage, our partner Document Management System. However, we have recently expanded our portfolio so you will have the opportunity to work with and implement a number of other software’s. Knowledge and experience with iManage is a bonus, however not a requirement for this role as we are able to provide the necessary training and certification to implement this product.
Initially, you will be shadowing and working with other technical consultants on their projects, whilst we get you up and running with the necessary training. After 6 months or so, you will be running and implementing your own projects.
Responsibilities
- Conduct design and discovery calls with the client, implementation, and ‘go-live’ of iManage and other software’s. This will include, but not limited to, business analysis, fit analysis, project management, software installation, system design and configuration, training, documentation, and software support.
- To provide technical support and guidance to your colleagues and our clients as required.
- Complete scheduled tasks from a Project Management tool and through collaboration with our team of experienced Project Managers.
- Be able to manage your diary effectively, to ensure a successful completion and delivery of a project or task, on time and on budget.
- To follow documented procedures and working practices relevant to the job.
- Provide pre and post sales technical advice to our customers. This will include the creation and provision of any supporting documentation required.
- Passing information to our support team.
- Adhere to health and safety policy, and other requirements relating to care of equipment.
- Execute the responsibilities of a company representative according to lawful and ethical standards.

Qualifications and experience
- Previous experience configuring and implementing SaaS solutions is required.
- Previous experience and confidence speaking with clients is required.
- Experience with Document Management Systems, iManage, Litera, Legal technologies, SQL, Web API’s is desired.
